well, i posted a long post on thursday and then lost it, so....i did not have the heart to do it again, so here i am saturday. we have had a relaxing two days. not much really to post. we are having a birthday party for rebekah monday night. she will be turning one. what a milestone year! she has been the most wonderful baby. it's too bad i have had so much trouble carrying babes full term because i would love to have 10 more like her. well....maybe not 10, but you know what i mean. we CAN'T have anymore, its official anyways. i can't believe i cannot have anymore children. sometimes it makes me really sad to think about that, but i have three wonderful children and i can be very thankful for that!
for bekah's party, we are having the church minisrty staff and our small group for dinner and cake. its not family, but it is the next best thing. i am still trying to decide on the menu. i want to really celebrate and give my best, but i need to be very cost efficient. the obvious inexpesive dinners for 15-20 people is spaghetti or chili, but i don't really want to do either, so....i am still thinking. if you have any suggestions, please share them! i also don't know what to get her as a gift for her birthday. we just had christmas and she is able to where all of anna's clothes for this spring. she doesn't really need anything and i know she won't know the difference anyway whether she gets a gift or not, but it just doesn't seem right having a birthday and not having a present to open. we'll see. if you have any suggestions on that as well, please let me know.

on a sad not, my sister's mother in law died wednesday night. sara almost never left her side. it was a very sad last few days. they will be at the funeral home saturday and the funeral will be sunday. i wish i could be there to help with jack and be a support to her. i know she is exhausted in every way. she was there when debbie took her last breath and i know that is so hard to see. please be praying for that family. they are going to be very tired and worn out and of course emotionally drained.
