isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

four days of work into one

i know i am expressing this probably too much, but there is such a huge difference in how i feel now verses 3 months ago. i did not know how bad i was feeling until i started feeling better. today i got up and got dressed hair and all, fed my kids, went to the grocery, took the kids to mcdonalds, came home and put the kids down for their naps, put the groceries away, straightened the house, folded and put away a ton of laundry, took the kids to the park down our street, got together leftovers for supper (bret was not home tonight as he usually is not on thursday nights), gave the kids baths, teeth, clipped fingernails and toenails, put them to bed, hung the rest of my pictures, filled out my new planner, and had a dr. pepper, blogged and got ready for bed. i would have only been able to get to one, maybe two of those per day when i was so unmotivated and exhausted. i know, i overachieved today, so please don't feel bad if you did not get that much done. maybe you get that much done everyday. all i know is that i haven't felt like this in quite some time. i am bracing myself for when all the thyroid hormone is depleted (about 6 weeks from now) and i feel hypothyroidism. it will then take another 6 weeks to get the synthroid in my system. that's if all goes as planned and all the excess hormones stored up in my thyroid are depleted. if not, then i will have to have radiation again, and i REALLY don't want to do that again. but, i will do what i have to do. hope you all are having a good week. my girls are feeling much better. i still made them where hats when we went out today. it was 75 degrees out. if you don't enjoy the outdoors in this weather you won't get a chance in texas, unless you are going to be in a pool during those steaming hot summer days fom june to september. love you all.
