isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

three more days!

well, i got the oil changed, the van washed and vacuumed out, and the takn filled up today. i also bought a portable dvd system for the van. hopefully it will come in handy. i did the last minute shopping before you head out of town and got birthday cards and anniversary cards for EVERYONE. june is a rather expensive month in our family because everyone's birthday and anniversary are in or around that month. hopefully everyone will like their gifts. we went solid from 10:00 till 4:00. we are all tired. the kids did very well all things considering. so did i ;-).

last night john and crysty got home from their vacation. we missed them so much. its funny you don't realize how often you see someone until they are gone for a while and you don't see them. they came over for supper. i got to try some new recipes from my rachel ray cookbook. we had scrambled eggs with ham, bacon, green onions, tomatoes, mrs. dash, cheese, and hot sauce in it. we had shredded hashbrowns with salt, pepper, and dehydrated onions in them. we also had bacon broiled in the oven with brown sugar on it and of course biscuits. it was delicious.

we looked all over dallas today fro a birthday gift idea for micah. i have no clue what to get him. we've thought anything from a puppy to ...... don't know. he doesn't need anything. i don't really want to get anything big. we'll see.

hope all is well for you.
