happy 50th dallas zoo

we had a great relaxing day with bret. everyone got up at his/her own pace, except me of course. i'm up with the first one up if i know whats best for me. we lazed around and had lunch. the kids took naps after lunch and bret and i watched the movie "in good compant." it was really cute. he got ready and went to a wedding rehearsal he was helping with and we went to chick fil a for supper and then to the dallas zoo 50th birthday party. it was a lot of fun. it was ofen to members. we decided to get a membership back in april, because it paid for itself in less than 2 visits. the kids love the zoo, so its a great place to go just for a couple of hours. when you have a membership, you don't feel guilty just going to look at the monkeys and leaving when you pay each time, you feel like you have to see every animal in the place and for three littl ones and one momma, that just takes too long. the kids had a great time tonight. the rides were free, and the had games where everyine who played wins a prize. also they had free drinks and ice cream and cake. it was lots of fun. needless to say, they were excited about getting home to tell daddy all about everything. we came staight in, got baths, talked to dadddy, and (they)went to bed. rebekah really enjoyed it all too. she didn't sleep a wink the entire time we were out. she was so tired she welcomed her bath and bottle. she didn't want to go to sleep while bret rocked her, though. hope you all have a nice weekend. love to you all,
