isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

anna's back to her old self again.

anna has been fever free now for over 24 hours so i guess that means weare aout of the woods. cross our fingers. at least i hope so. no one else has shown signs of any sickness yet. please, God, keep us all healthy for the next couple of weeks.

we are all getting soooooo excited about out trip in to see family and our get away without kids. we are looking at going to st louis just to get away and relax for a little while. bret has always wanted to go horse back riding and i've always wanted to spend a day at the spa, so i think we are going to try to get to those things. it will just be nice to have "a quiet" dinner out at a restaurant with adult conversation. and mornings to sleep in. i also am going to let bret try to reteach me some things about swimming. pray for me, that i am able to learn alot while we are there.in the mean time i've got to make sure and keep the laundry done up so we can pack easily saturday. we are going to church sunday morning and leaving right after.

if you know of any "must do's" in st. louis let me know. we are open to (most) anything. i have some cute pictures i'll try to post from this weekend but bret has the camera at his office now so i'll have to wait and download them here first.

congratulations to philip and sarah matheney who just had a little baby girl, emily ruth last friday. she is darling.
love to you all,
summer
