isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

pictures are up and going!

well, i can now publish pictures!!! i'm so excited! after talking to many of you who are reading i've almost decided to retitle my blog anna's antics!!! yes, she is my constant source of entertainment. we are never bored with anna around. i hope we can mold this characteristic into a unique gift she can use for God's kingdom.
it's actually been kinda calm around here the last few days. micah is his usual sweet "big brother" self. he is so good with rebekah and he made he and anna's lunches this morning for us to take to church. tuesday is of course ladies bible class, but i decided to just use my time with available childcare to help with vbs decorating. it is looking so great. i have felt guilty not helping more but i don't know how i would be any help if there is no childcare. i am planning to help again saturday. they are going to have childcare from 9-6.
bret brought me a dozen roses yesterday! just because. they are gorgeous. i am so lucky to have the sweetest husband in the world. he is so good about things like that. i'll take a picture and post it later so you can see them.
we are having italian beef sandwiches for supper tonight. they are so good. you cook a roast in some beefy mushroom or french onion soup in the crock pot all day on low(so it falls apart) and then about an hour before serving you add a jar of peperoncinis, juice and all to the pot. you eat the meat on hoagie rolls and dip it in the juice. they are wonderful. you can also melt mozerella cheese over them.
we're still looking for ideas for our trip together the first week of july. bret's mom and sister are going to watch them for us for a couple of days so we can have some much needed couple time. i'm VERY excited.
i hope you all are having a wonderful day. mine is going very well so far. i think i am going to take the kids swimming tomorrow. there is a very nice "baby pool down the street that is very inexpensive and micah loves it. we'll see how it goes. God bless you all.
love,
summer
