well, sunday night we noticed anna felt very warm. we had been outside for a while, so i thought she was just hot since it was a balmy 100 degerees, but she was not. she was running 102+ temperature. i gave her some tylenol and she slept great!!!---till about 1 am. she woke up with 104+ temp and was shaking, wide awake and scared to death from a night mare. as a parent, you hardly ever feel worse for your children than in a time like that. she was absolutely pitiful! you really do want so bad to take it upon yourself so that they don't have to hurt anymore. but you can't so you do everything possible to make them as comfortable and secure as possible. at 1 am we watched 2 episodes of dora to get her mind off of "crocodiles and dinosours," which were the source of her bad dreams. i wish you could have seen her eyes. they were as wide open as saucers from 1-6. i finally got her fever below 102 after another round of tylenol, her gagging and throwing up the tylenol and spongeing her off with lukewarm water. i thought she might be ready to go to bed at 3 so i tried putting her down in her bed, only for 2 minutes later her to cry out again, "crocodiles get me!!!." i went and got in be with her till 5 when she insisted she had to "get out!" we went to mommy and daddy's bed and finally around 6 she fell asleep. it was a long night needless to say, but we made it through the day fairly well. i took her to the dr. this afternoon since we are leaving to go out of town sunday. it turns out it is viral. so no medicine. just got to tough it out. she's done much better tonight. though she has continued to run a low gradae temp tonight she acts like she is feeling much better. i pray she gets completely wel before we leave sunday and that none of the rest of us get it. especially rebekah. please pray for us. i need this trip with bret too badly to have to cancel because of sickness. ryan and lesli watched micah for me so i would only have to handle two in the drs. office. it may not sound like it, it really did help tremendously! thank you lesli and ryan. we love you guys so much. also thank you for the gift certificate for my birthday. i am excited about spending it!! tek care you all. and try to stay well.

It was our pleasure. I honestly think we had more fun than Micah...and he had a lot of fun!! Thanks for letting us take him for the afternoon!
