isaiah 40: 28-31

well--i've got good news and bad news--
first the good news,
we had a great family day yesterday. it began with micah's soccer game followed by an incredible air show out in west fort worth!!! we capped the night off with a vocal majority show and bret did his best solo ever!! our other good news is that we are coming up on a much needed family get away. we are coming to nashville for the zoe worsip conference. i plan to visit with some old friends and family and hopefully enjoy fall in Tennessee!! we may get to do some shopping, too!

as for the bad news,
the kids and i are a little on the puny side. bekah has had a horrible cold for a week now with yucky nose and pitiful cough. the other two have picked up her cough and i seem to be having serious drainage and sore throat. but worse than this news is that i think my 15 year old washing machine may have spun its last cycle. (it was used when we got it 10 years ago) please pray for us. we need it to work. bret is on his way home from church now to take a look at it. hopefully its just a pump or timer issue, otherwise i may be going to the laundry mat in the future!!!
