zoe once again refreshed our journey. i didn't realize how much my familily was in need of a get away. but we were. the kids were PERFECT on the drive to and from nashville. no crying fussing, fighting or whining just pure goodness!!! they really know how to travel. they don'[t really have a choice in the matter. if we ever want to see family and frinds form home we have to make that trip, so they just sit back and ride. i am so grateful to them!!! one of my favorite parts of the trips to nashville is the travel conversation. it proves to be some of the most meaningful and enjoyable conversation bret and i have!! there is time for opening up and vulnerability and all the while the kids are locked in seatbelts so we are not having to chase after them. its really nice. this time ws no different. i love my husband so much. his heart is pure gold and his intentions are nothing short of pure and blameless. i am a lucky woman. we got to spend some great time wiht my sisters and parents. we also got to visit with our old friends frim lipscomb Jon and kristi reynolds and their kids lindsey and mason. our kids acted like they had known one another their whole lives. we caught a minute with brets family bofrore they hearded to disney and i got to spend an afternoon with my two best friends from highschool-jessica and katie. we met at jessica's house. it was so nice seeing them and meeting jessica's two children. my mom kept my three for me on friday night and saturday morning so i could enjoy the conference with bret. it was great. we got to see so many old friends and familiar faces. i love family reunions like zoe. we made i back home safely and in record time.
i was convicted as always during the cofnerence and praise God for being able to speak so detailed and straight to my heart along with so many others at the same time. thank you, God for being bigger than my cognitive ability. thank you for not fitting in the boxes i try to put you in. thank you for being my peace in the calm and in the storms. thank you for never letting go of me!

isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
