Promises Fullfilled

well, i decided i was never going to have a chance for someone to take my picture when i was freshly put together and hair looking all spiffy, so i just took one of myself and posted it. the difference now verses before new years is now i am straight rather than curly, about 5-6 inces shorter, and i have bangs--chunky ones. i like it. its new and different, but still allows me to put it up on one of "those" days.

also, you have a picture of Chase. he is really cute and sweet. i am managing being the poop and potty patrol! if its not one of them its probably the other!!! hehehehe!

anna had strep throat tuesday. she went to the doctor for a 3 yr. well visit and they found it then! when will spring fully get here and all this mess be gone??????? i don't want to be around nor be sick my self anymore!!!!!

we leave one week from today!!! i am extremely excited!

my friend, tracy, from reidland is in dallas with her husband and boys for her husband's business. we are getting together in the morning to shop, hang out and play. i am very excited to be with a reidlandian!!!! especially Tracy. she always a hoot. i'm sure we will be a sight with 5 kids trapsing through Valley View mall tomorrow. we will have fun nonetheless!

we had dinner with our friend, Deen, Tuesday night. he brought the kids Easter baskets and taught me how to make chicken and dumplins. he makes the best dumplins. i hope when i do them myself, they turn out as well as his. we had an incredible feast that night. thank you Deen. please keep him in your prayers as he is looking for a job. after 15 years with the elecric company, downsizing and outsourcing has left him jobless. he got anohter job about three weeks ago, but after two weeks of flying back and forth to kansas city for training, they had to let him go because they had not counted their costs well and could not afford to hire a person for that job. he is one of those people who cannot be still. he needs a job, not only for income, but to keep him from losing his mind with boredom!! so please pray he finds something soon and that it is in the metroplex.

tomorrow is one of my best friends' in the whole world birthday. Happy birthday, Lesli!!! i hope you are having fun in paducah with your family. let me know how everything goes!!!

my mother-in-law and sister-in-law are helping take care of some children whose mother is a single mom and in the hospital with chrones disease. they thought it was going to be only for a few days. it has been two weeks and the prognosis for the mother is not looking good. please pray for this woman and her children and nancy and christy and the others helping to care for this family. it is a crazy situation and needs some resoultion soon.

Also, my sister-in-law cindy is celebrating a birthday. i hope she has a wonderful celebration! We'll be there soon, Cindy, to celebrate with you!

Micah has his first soccer game saturday morning at 9. then we are off to sams, followed by a birthday party. bret has a concert that night with the vm. sunday should be tons of fun with worship and an Easter egg hunt and picnic at the park. it is always one of the highlights of my year at PRCC. i am excited about seeing Bekah hunt this year. maybe it will encourage her to WALK!!!!!
