isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

dogs and girls

i'm sorry it's been so long. i have kinda enjoyed the haietus. the weather has been absolutely gorgeous around here. march, april, and may are all the fun outdoors you get in tx, so we have been outside alot. anna's had another ear infection since my last post. bekah has been doing better. micah had a virus over the weekend that gave him hives from head to toe!!! his joints, feet, and hands even swelled up and he couldn't walk for two days. he itched all over and ran fever during most of it. it was so pitiful. the dr. said from a medical stand point, it vas relatively nothing to worry about, but looking at him, you would have had a hard trime believing her. he only had to deel with it for three days so that's better that some.

we did not come hjome with a dog friday feb. 24th. we had told the kids we were goinig to go get a dog that night, but the owner (who i thought was saving it for us) called and said she had decided to give them both to an older single woman with no children. wow, one of the first times i've been descriminated against for being "normal"!!! to say the least, our whole familywas very dissapointed. but we found some yorkies this past week and got one of those. his name is chase zaccheus morris. micah named him because he was chasing and playing with him when we went to get him. he is adorable, but definitely work. he is doing well at pottying i guess so far.

sunday afternoon, since we didn't go to church(the kids and i--so micah could get better) we had a great day at home. that afternoon, i let the kids, including micah go out in our back yard for a while. everyone in the neighborhood was out playing and working on their yuards and grilling. micah made a girlfriend. our next door neighbor has a little girl named emily that is 6 in kindergarten. she is really cute. she and micah talked back and forth over the fence. then threw a ball back and forth over it. she brought him a chocolate chip cookie. he fell in love. he ran upstairs to get dressed (he had been in his pajamas till then). when he came down he asked, "mom, do i look cool?" i said yeah, but why do you care? he said,"because it matters, mom!" hten he ran outside to play with emily again. i couldn't believe it! it has already started. tryining to impress girls. he really likes her. he went out the next afternoon when she got home from school and called for her and she came out to play again. it was kinda sweet. definitely my first experience with real attraction from my son, but it was good.

love you all,
summer

Lilly will be devastated. Even though she has kind of moved on to Nathanael.

Enjoy your new family member. If you photographed him with you holding him, we could see the hairdo and the dog.
