Good Morning!!

i like mornings again. i'm not sure wehn it happened but i think spring is having something to do with it. no matter what the reason, i'm glad to like them again and i know my family is grateful. we had oatmeal for breakfast this morning. it was very good. of course, the only way to eat oatmeal in my book is with lots of cream, butter and sugar. my family agrees.

anna told me this morning that when she grows up she is going to be a mommy and make breakfast too! but when she gets really big she will have to ge t a truck and go to work like daddy!!! i love it. she also drew a "flummer" on the magnadoodle and said "they are very dangerous, mommy." she was very serious. i love three year olds. anna makes a much better three year old than two year old!!! she and bekah are upstairs right now "cooking" in anna's kitchen. anna's all decked out in her apron and everything. she keeps bringing me some breakfast drink. i just keep drinking it and asking for more. she's in there singing the disney song form cinderella, "sing sweet nighting gale, ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah...." it is very sweet! bekah just got closed out of her room so she started beating on the door. anna just opened the door and said, "hello dear, come in child." to bekah.. "come in chickypoo" oh she is me so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rebekah has mastered the stairs. up and down. it is very funny watching her prepare for going down. you can almost hear a beeping noise signaling everyone in her path she is backin' down! it is so cute.

micah had a great time with emily playing at chick fil a yesterday. emily was a bit shy for a while, but she finally got in her groove. while playing she got into a "skirmish" with another little boy how was also playing. they hit each other. micah brought her to us. after she told "her side of the story," he said, "well, i couldn't do anything, because she hit him first!" good for micah. he was telling prople at church last night that he wants to marry her when he grows up. she fits the bill perfectly so far with what he has in mind--she lives next door to mom and she has long brown hair. uhm...uhm...uhm....what am i going to do with him??????!!!!!!!

i don't have a camera here. bret keeps taking it to work with him, so that's why i haven't posted a picture of chase, or my hair for that matter. chase is growing and a truly sweet dog. he is learning how to play by himself by chewing on his sqeaker toy and maiking it squeak. he is very gentle with the children and lets them tote him anywhere. he is a little unsure of anna, but is the sweetest wtih bekah. she just hugs and kisses on him and he loves it. he hugs and kisses back.

last night our class made dinner for the new friends new life class, we made tortilla soup, salad and three desserts with all the fixins. it turned out amazing. i like organizing this sort of thing. especially when everyone follows through with their committments. we blew carolyn pool and jeanninie downey away!!! they really appreciated our hard work. we get to do it 4 more times this year. next time we are having poppy seed chicken, green beans, salad, rolls, and desserts. it should be good.

i am gearing up for the retreat this weekend. it is going to be so exciting. and relaxing. i am hoping to get al ot done with my scrapbooking. all my pictures pre digital are arranged chronilogically in page order. all i have to do this weekend is get them on paper. it should be fun.
