my last post was after vbs was over. so much has happened since then. of course you all knew that.
we visited bret's family for erin's wedding. i'll post pictures. it was a beautiful wedding. the kids were much better than we had anticipated which was a pleasant suprise.
we walked my sister all over dickson trying to urge mr. dylan to come but he was competely satisfied inside his mommy's tummy, so he ended up being about three days late.
it was a great visit with all our family and i am so grateful to them for letting us stay with them on a flexible time table as we were working with an unborn child!!!
i was honored to be in the delivery room (along with mom, shirley, and sara) with leslie and dwayne when dylan was born. it was monumental to say the least. i was the official photographer and that is all that held me together. leslie acted like a pro and i am so proud of her.
we celebrated micah's birthday with carson and all at the bowling alley and pizza inn. we missed daddy, but carson was a close second and we were satisfied to share it with him.
we came home after being away from bret for three weeks and it was the most wonderful reunion i have ever been a part of. they say absence makes the heart grow fonder and i am positive of it. i missed bret, home, prcc, and even dallas so much! who would've known??? :-)
we spent the next few days catching up on each other and house work and swimming. i had the crazy idea of moving the play room upstairs to the kids rooms and hallway. bret helped me and now it is all put together. think i like it. at least all the mess stays upstairs. :-)
we celebrated micah's birthday with daddy on the 22nd. we gave him a superman dressup outfit and took him to chuck e cheeses. anna was really good and we all had a great time. for some reason, i have absolutely no pictures of any of it and i am sick. i will try to take some pictures of him dressed up and post those.
i went on a scrapbooking retreat last weekend, but not without a cost!! i had an accident in brets new car first thing friday morning. (it was not my fault and it was very minimal as far as what it could have been) i was sick and it took most of the day to get through all the insurance adjusters phone calls. after a lot of other "little" frustrations throughout the day and a huge amount of thanksgiving for my husband who was working through it with me, i finally got to the retreat and had a wonderful time.
i had a neurologist's appointment yesterday, conserning the episode i had in june with the weakness and numbness on my left side and my headaches that i have been having everyday for the last few months. she thinks all of it could have been related to the headaches and that i am fine. she went ahead and did a full blood work up(10 viles) just to check everything thoroughly. i told her i ahd already met mey deductable for the year after the MRI and MRA. if we were going to need to do anything else, i wanted to do it now!! we'll hear back from the results in the next few days. but she thinks without doing ultra extensive testing everything looks great. i'm taking her word for it and not worrying about anything!!
micah starts school in 19 days. we are so excited. we sill get him some new tennis shoes this weekend during the tax free shopping time. i have gone through all of his clothes and pulled out everything that is too little, which was quite a bit. he is really getting tall. his socks and pants were all too little. we get to meet his teacher friday night before school starts on monday the 21st. we are all excited.!!
pray you all are doing well and that you are seeing the figer prints of God all around you.
love you all,
summer

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
