isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

soccer and such

well, i signed micah up for fall soccer. i imagine i am going to want to pull all of my hair out by the middle of september. oh well. if it does not go well, we don't have to do it again next fall. we start the first day of school. that's alot of firsts in one week for a family that has been used to being a stay at home family all of its existence. we are ready. i invited the coach's wife and kids over to swim this thursday. it should be a lot of fun. we have alot in common. they got married one year after we did in the same month. they are our age and each of their children are the same age (to the month) and gender that each of my children are. she is currently finishing her teaching degree and very very exhausted. her husband does not do anything except work and they are not hugely involved in church since they don't have much time. he helps her tremedously. they just found out their 18 month old baby, mia, has feveral seisures. if she gets a temperature of 101 or more she could go into seisures. that is really scary. they pretty much give her tylenol every night before she goes to bed and they leave the monitor on every night to listen for her. the doctors say she will most likely grow out of it before she turns 4 or so. thats a long year and a half to two years.

we are trying to spend the next two weeks having as much free fun as possible. so that mainly means swimming alot. let me know if you have anyother good suggestions for free fun. don't give outside suggestions as 102 degree heat vetos anything outside that is not in the water. we also go to the library and to the mall to play, but that usually turns into some expense because we can't go without eating there very easily.

thanks for all of your comments the last few days. i know you must have almost given up on me for good. thanks for checking in every now and then.
love you all,
summer

Dear Summer,
I miss you and your dear family so much already! I loved seeing your pictures. Anna and Micah were beautiful at the wedding- and so was their mommy! Hopefully we can get together soon and catch up.
Love,
Tricia
