isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

contemplations continued
thanks for all of your thoughts from my last post. some of you posted your resopses to my blog, but i talked to several of you persoanally on the matter, too. after hearing your responses, i feel the need to clairify my statement a bit. i am at peace with God and i am living in a time of blessing. i have had some struggles with which God has used to develop my character, but over all, i have lived in a lifelong period of easy street. there have been very few ashes for God to turn to beauty. that is what causes my questions. i know god uses everything to the good for those who are in christ, so i see that as the reason my life has bveen as easy as it has been. this is not bragging on my part. just simply a realization that i've been sweating the small stuff for a long time. i am so glad god is working in each of your lives to show you his glory. we have a wonderful god who does expect to give us everything he gave his son. that is both exciting and scary. thanks for your dialogue.
