isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

we've found the remote!

thank goodness! we finally put out a reward to the one who found it of $25. well that got bret motivated. and my house hasn't been this clean in a while he was moving and vacuuming underneath furniture and dusting and mopping under everything! . finally, his hardwork paid off and he one the reward money when he found it in annas room in box. Hmm... wonder how it got in there? oh well. it was kinda nice not watching so much tv. i mean you know you are getting too lazy when you won't watch tv because you have to get up and walk over to the tv to change the channel, and you can' t even pause or rewind?fastforward live tv now without the remote. it really was an awakening to us.. we had a very relaxing holiday weekend. we enjoyed just being together more than i think we have in a while.
we are buying a new couch today. we found it over the weekend. it is a $3200 beautiful leather section for $810. i get a little nervous about big purchases but i think this is a great thing. it is absolutely beautiful. my dream couch. i'll take a picture of it ewhen it gets here and post it. i downloaded the bloggerspot from hello that you need in order to post pictures and add links, but i have not figured out how to use it. bret is going to school me tonight. (hopefully. )

tonight is tuesday night which is our family night. we are having white beans, creamed ppotatoes, smoked sausage, and corn bread. i hope turns out well. i am usually hit or miss with white beans so i'll let you know tomorrow. have agreat day.

love,
summer
