well, our family is recording "welcome to our world" tonight for a christmas cd project our church is doing and i am so nervous!!!! bret had a "coaching" session with us this morning and actually taught me a lot. i'm still no where as good as he is without even trying. oh well. if i can get through it on pitch i will be extremely happy with it. micah and anna are even singing the last phrase and they sound adorable! i hope it goes well and i blow bret away. singing with him usually intimidates me because he's so much better than i am. he was very sweet this morning and truly taught me a lot. i'll let you know tomorrow how it goes tonight. hopefully i'll have good news for you.
on a different note, rebekah started eating rice cereal this week and she is the cutest thing eating it. she absolutely loves it and i can't shovel it in fast enough. she smacks her lips and sucks on her tongue. i can't believe how fast she is growing. i'm cherishing every last moment of her babyhood. she is the last. ti don't know why that is so sad to me. i know i don't need to go through another pregnancy since i was on bedrest for the last three months with the last two pregnancies. but that's all been "taken care of." i've heard it before and i believe it true in our case. third babies are practically perfect. it seems so much easier when you know what to do and your not always second guessing yourself. we all adore her. micah and anna are so cute with her. now that she smiles and is beginning to laugh they take great pride in being able to make her do so. it has almost become a one up game around here. but bret started that with her smiling at him for the first four times of her life.
i will be posting pictures as often as possible too. i still have to download a program in order to be able to do so. i plan on doing that this weekend. just wanted to let you know of the fun going on in the morris household. hope you all are having as much as we are.
love,
summer
isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
