oh, if only i could pour out my brain right now!!!!!!!!!! my brain is spinning out of control with trillions of pieces of stuff floating around. its as if my brain is the solar system and there is a huge meteor shower going on. pray for a clear mind and a peaceful spirit for me.
i have been reminded in two different places in the ;ast 24 hours of god's faithfulness through the song, "he's always been faithful to me." those words are so powerful, aren't they. "all i have need of, his hand will provide...he's always been faithful to me."
funny side notes:
my three year olds had their valentine program at school today. planning music for 3 year old children to perform in front of their parents is not an easy task. they did a magnificent job and i'm so proud of them. we sang the first three songs a cappella and the last two were along with a cd. the finale song, "skidamarink," got messed up on the cd player and i had look at the kids and say, "oops, we messed up." they all laughed at me and the one little one (that usually makes me want to pull my hair out) said "oh miss summer, you're so silly!" it was absolutely precious and i am so proud of them.
micah lost his 3rd tooth monday night. the tooth fairy has had alot on her mind and forgot to take his tooth and leave a dollar. micah woke up the next morning and when i went up to wake him he was just sitting there silent and and in disbelief that the toothfariy flew over him with out leaving money. the next night the tooth fairy again had much on her mind and forgot to stop by. but thankfully daddy was quick that morning and just about 5 minutes before wake up time was able to find the tooth fairy. however, in her haste, the toothfairy left a $10 instead of a $1. i guess thats what happens when the toothfairy has a busy schedule and can't get to you the first night.....i mean i've heard of late fees but that's outrageous!!!
my cousin, kevin owen, is coming to preach at preston road next sunday. i am very excited. he will be staying with us. however, i am a little sad because many of the couples at our church will not get to hear him because they will be away on the couples retreat. all of the staff is going on the retreat. we were not able to go because we do not know anyone locally that can keep all three kids for two nights. thats the down side to living far away from relatives. at least we get to spend some time with my cousin.
sorry for the lack of writing, there is much on my mind, just not much i can say for the world to see. love to you all,
summer
isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

God bless you with a clear mind!!
Helpful hint: Once the tooth fairy was forgetful for two days and then two more days just a few short days later and it was established that sometimes the tooth fairy plays games and hides your money in new spots-like wherever it can be stashed un-noticed-like under the bed or behind the door. She also sometimes leaves the tooth to trick you or because her tooth bag was too full. Fairies are tricky like that.
The tooth fairy was frequently too busy to visit on the first night at our house as well!
Is so good to get a post from you of any kind! I miss hearing from my Summer! Keep us informed, even if it is just little snippets of your life!
