what a special holiday created just for the sole purpose of telling those you love how much you love them. thats my kind of holiday. we have $13 worth of parties to go to tomorrow, not counting the wonderful little paper valentines and non candy treats we bought for 4 classes. (yes, bekah has two classes since she goes every day to a MWF/T Th class.) it will be fun.
bekah's birthday was a huge success. it was feb. 2. we had a real dora adventure. only those who have actually watched an episode of dora would know what i am talking about, but her party went pretty much like an episode of dora complete with music, map and backpack. swiper (brother and his buddy) swiped the presents and took them to the playground. so we had to find the presents and get back to the party. we consulted the map and had a mission of playgound...bridge...bakah's party. she had fun. i will post pictures as soon as i can.
thanks to those of you who called or sent a card or gift in the mail....it REALLY brightened her little world.
i got tile in my bathrooms and have almost completed all the painting of the house along with getting the carpets cleaned. it looks so nice.
micah has only two more basket all games left. he really is a great bball player. i think we may have found his sport. he hits usually about 6/7 out of 10 shots. thats better than me!!! he has really enjoyed playing especially with his best friend being on his team. i'm glad we decided to play.
anna is reading now!!! it has been a great decision to put her in the primer class. she has read a book to me. now thats all she wants to do. i'm glad, i love snuggling to read. especially when i'm being read to!!
anna's birthday is next tuesday. she will be 5!! i can't believe it. she has shot up more than either of the other two and grown up alot. i miss her baby days maybe the most. she decided not to have a party but to go ice skating and to see the hannah montana movie and swing by the new american girl store to browse. i would give anything if i could afford one of those dolls and suprise her with one that day. she knows it is just to look and she is content with that. i am such a lucky mom to have a child that can do that. i know many that would throw a fit if they didn't get to get a doll. i am so proud of her. for someone who gave me so much exhaustion she sure has turned into someone who gives me joy. i love my anna!!!
isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

I miss you, Summer! And when you post about how sweet the kids are, I REALLY miss them!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Sorry we missed Bekah's birthday. We're such horrible friends! I can't believe we missed it! :o(
I am sorry I missed that adventure of a party, but it sounds like it went so great!
And your kids are the sweetest, they bring me and John more joy then any other kids ever have on a regular basis!
