isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

prayer walk

sunday our church held a prayer walk where each individual family walked a block of the neighborhood around the church and prayed for each household individually. sort of a cool concept.....anyway. we decided, since our children love to pray and fight over who gets to do it at each mealtime and bedtime, that we would each take turns and rotate saying prayers for each of the houses. our children blew us away with their thoughtfullness and sweetness. without our specific (in that momment ) influence, bekah prayed for the kids who are potty training at each house she was supposed to pray for. anna blessed everyones hearts and asked god to "just help them be happy and feel well and be with their kids and their mommies and daddies and help them just to love each other".....and on and on and on. micah prayed that if they didn't know god that they would get to know him and that they would make wise choices. i was moved completely to tears. they each have such loving hearts and i am so thankful.

Of course it's not you!!! You have heard me talk of the two instances. I just don't want to say it on here. Anyway, you're a great friend!!

I miss your kids, too. :-(
