isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

fall is here!
as i drove to school this coudy morning, i noticed the leaves are almost at peak in lower alabama. so we had a great week of halloween festivities. we got our house cleaned up really good on tuesday had church on wednesday and went to zooboo on thursday. the kids had so much fun all dressed up. we joined our friends, the bloomers fo trickor treating and chili on halloween night. it was great. thanks to the boys, the girls got to get a mini girls night in while the husbands and kids were trick or treating. it was nice. we laughed a lot. we spent the weekend with lots of different people from our church family and it was so nice. saturday the girls and i had a girls day out doing a little christmas shopping and enjoying the day. we stopped by the pet store, as we often do, to see all the adorable animals and pet one. well, we always see sweet dogs, but i am usually able to leave without feeling the pull to have any of them permanently. this day was different. it was the day we met buddy. the newest memeber of our family. he is absloutley adorable and so good natured! you see, last january, when bekah was potty training, i promised them a puppy when bekah was finally potty trained. for those of you who don't rememeber, she had a terrible phobia of the bathroom and it tiook us FOREVER to convince thata going to the bathroom wast safe. well, she did finally pull through with the potty training thing, but we were in the middle of a move at the time and we had to wait. i didn't want to take the choosing of a puppy lightly, since this little being would be a memeber of our family. we finally decided that this little cockapoo was perfect. everyone who meets him thinks he is perfect , too. so i will post pictures soon of halloween and our newest memeber of the family, buddy. enjoy your fall weekend. we are enjoying ours, for sure!
