isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

happy birthday to me

today is my last birthday for the rest of my life! i don't need anymore. 29 are are enough. i'm not sure why that feels so old. (please forgive me if you are that age or older and reading this!) its just i've always been one of the youngun's and now that is about to be over.
however, as i was telling my mom this afternoon, i feel better now than i can ever remember feeling. i feel more healthy and "normal" than ever before. sure, i experience all ranges of emotion, but its kinda like there is a governor on my emotions that keeps me floating like a bouy in the water. i absolutely love who i am right now. with the exception of toning up my 3 babies tummy, learning to talk in a softer voice all the time, and growing deeper in my relationship with God, i could not possibly ask for anything else. i am exactly where i want to be. that in it itself is such a blessing to me.

as for birthday plans, my husband woke me gently this morning and made me breakfast and made the kids lunches before work. it was very sweet. he also had cards from he and the kids waiting for me on the table. they were so sweet. we have plans to go out for dinner, get a family photos made, go to six flags, and get to some more painting. i am very excited.

hope you all had a great first day of summer. i have really enjoyed mine and look forward to the weekend as well.
