two on tuesday

happy birthday to rebekah!! today she is two. we got her up this morning by all of us serenading her with the happy birthday song. she was so cute. she loves to hold two fingers (usually the two that make the "L" shape) up and say "two." she is growing so fast. we are getting her a big girl bed and a potty for her birthday. (i know you are thinking poor child, that's a horrible birthday gift, but she just had christmas. the child does not need anything!!! trust me!) it is time to let her start becoming a big girl. she is very eager to be one. i don't know why it is so hard the last time around to let go of the baby stage. i should be excited that the days of diapers are almost over. but...it makes me a little sad. she is the sweet one of all of us. it is her nature to be sweet. but she is telling me as loudly as she can by mimicking anna in play that she wants to be a big girl. she also wants to learn to potty desparately. hopefully it will be easy for her. we will celebrate tonight with a special bekah family dinner and cupcakes. we will have a party with the hughes and the kimberlins saturday afternoon. i still have not decided where to have lunch. i will be making that decision soon. i am so proud of my girl. the greatest gift GOd gave me to teach me of his love for me was giving me children to love. he loves me and them more than i ever could and that's a lot!!! love you all, have a great tuesday!
