isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

i know, i know.....

i don't know its so hard to keep this thing updated. i guess i just feel that i very rarely have anything post worthy and heaven forbid me sit down to the computer for any length of time while my children are awake. that is a sure way of allowing all heck to break loose! when they are asleep, i have so many other things that really need my attension, so.... there, that's why i am an up predictable poster!

i will post some pictures of our trip to pepperdine, it was wonderful, though we did open a can of worms relationally--too much to go into. we are working it out...i think.

school is out and my baby will be starting kindergarten in 2 1/2 months. i am not ready, yet i am sooo ready!

my 10 year reunion is scheduled for aug 19th and i have no clue if it will really be pulled off. i have secured the place, and meal. someone else is in charge of getting the word out. i am not sure how well or if he will do it, so....i am a control freak..its time i admitt it.

vbs is next week and we are preparing for it this week. it is so much fun and so much work. my kids are very excited!

i miss camp terribly. if we were still in youth ministry, bret, the kids, and i would be leaving friday to go to south carolina for camp. i want to go and i am feeling very nostalgic this week thinking about it.

my baby sister baby is due one month from yesterday. i pray i am able to be there for her delivery. i missed my very first nephew's birth becacuse i had just had a baby of my own and could not make that trip yet. i was so heartbroken to not be there. i WILL NOT miss the second!!!

one of my best friends is pregnant, due at the end of october and just really beginning to show. she is adorable! pregnant people really do glow for some reason. in a good way and she is really glowing!

my mom, dad and grand mother came to visit us memorial day weekend. it was so much fun. we mainly relaxed except for the few momments we realized anna had gotten into my mom and dad's medicine while she was supposed to be taking a nap. we were all a bit freaked out, but thankfully all medicine was found and accounted for!!! (we think) its episodes like that, that make me ready for bed at night!

my health is good. there are many stressors going on right now and though i am feeling a bit overwhelmed, in that i know i can't fix half of it, i am in good mental health. that is reassuring for me.

we plan on coming to paducah for erin's wedding on jun 22. that is the day after my 28th birthday!!!!!!!!!! yes, i am turning 28. can't believe it. i feel the getting older factor creeping up on me. oh well. with age comes wisdom and i need all i can get of that.

i will be in ky and tn for a little over 2 weeks for the wedding and for leslie's (my sister) baby to be born. bret's mom is having work done on her house so she is living with bret's sister, christy. i'm not sure at this point where i will need to stay when we are in. hopefully we will not be too much for them. if so, we can always get a room on proceline or something. we will see.

is that enough up date for now? hope so,
love you all,
summer

You could always stay with us!! We don't have much room or comforts, but oh it would be alot of fun!! Brett and Erik could put on a concert for the kids every night. We could be out at a restaurant having quiet conversation and coffee. ( :
