well the leaves are chganging and its 88 degrees today! whats that? its been a great week. the 80's party was lots of fun. grand prize was 4 dallas stars tickets on the 5th row! pretty awesome. way to go john and crysty who one the overall championship. monday was halloween and the kids were so excited. unfortunately anna and bekah came down with fevers so we were not able to go to the carnival at church. i did let her however go to the two houses next door for trick or treating she would have been devastated otherwise. tuesday we took bekah to the dr. for her 9 mon. checkup. she was great and weighed 18.6 pounds. they gave anna and bekah flu shots. i don't know about those things. i've heard people still get sick after having the shiot and i hate to get them and keep those who are high risk form getting them. oh well. we got them and both girls cried. i did not go to the dr. prepared for both to get shots. everything considered they were very good. we had lunch with brother and daddy at chick fil a an went home for naps. tuesday night is family and movie night around here. we had poppy seed chicken, pasta salad, corn on the cob, and rolls. it was really good. then we watched star wars episode three. wednesday was my bible study at lake pointe. home for lunch and off to church in dallas. micah has been going to future voice chior practice. we ate with the nfnl kids and had so much fun. thursaday is adventure day and we were going to go to grapevine mills mall to play in the play area. anna did not do well , so bret brought her back to his office and had her take a nap on his couch while he worked. micah, bekah and i went and found they don not have a play area anymore. sad, but we did meet the new family that moved into our old apartment next to the church. there is a little boy that is about micah's age. they played together onthe church playground for a while and then we wernt to see them again sunday morning. we went back home and i cleaned the house from top to ottom. it was so pretty. friday bret and i tackled a much needed project and finished it. we got the garage cleaned out and organized and made plenty of room for the van to be pulled in!!!! that night went to on the border and took the kids to see chicken little. it was cute but not the $21 good. we also went by old navy to get anna a few playclothes type shirts. i got 6 shirts for $24. she didn't have any so it was a good thing. daturday morning is my time and i love it. i went christmas shopping for my kids. i got alot done and had a great time. bret took the afternoon to go play his hobby game. we met at 6 at lake pointe. they have a saturday night service. i had been wanting to see what it was like. we came home and i had made white chili for supper in the crockpot. we made some "hocakes" and it was a delicious dinner. sunday was crazy, but good. we had to leave early to go by and see the people who live in our old apartment and i was teaching the nursery for janet pearson. it was good. church went well and we had lunch at maccaroni grill. so good bret and i share the pasta milano and the kids share the mac n cheese. good afternoon and then john, crysty, scott, and tricia cam over for supper and cards. so much fun. crysty won. today is our catch up and rest day. we've been doing just that. love you all.

isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

I'm glad to hear that things are going well. We hated not being there last night. Ryan came back tonight & will not be out of town, so hopefully can get ahead in his class. Maybe we can get together soon. Miss you!
Love you,
Lesli
