my husband is so wonderful to me. the last couple of days (actually months off and on) i have been struggling with feeling a little down, with no idea why. (for you girls out there, its not just pms.) yesterday, bret could tell i was struggling a little more than i had been in the last few days. he proceeded to draw me up in his lap and gently tell me of all blessings i have in my life. we together could not think of one thing that is worthy of feeling down about, thus my frustration. why am i feeling this way? he was so gentle and helpful. i am definitely so blessed to have him by my side.

we blew bubbles this afternoon with micah's new bubble blower that he got form aunt cindy. it was a lot of fun. we also chalked on the side walk. great afternoon. this morning, the kids made paper faces . they turned out really cute. they are hanging on my "bulletin board" in the kitchen along with their water color art that daddy judged and we have first through 6th place. of course 1st place turned out tho be the picture of daddy. i guess to win first prize you have to brown nose. well, alittle brownnoseing can get you pretty far sometimes! the prize was a pouch of fun dip. (that stuff that has a white sugar stick with a pouch of colored/flavored sugar to dip your stick in and then lick.) they were more than satisfied with the prize and very proud of their placings. it was really cute. i'll post a picture of the board so you all can see the art work.
