we've had a great day today. up at 8, bowl of cereal for breakfast.
played all morning. water colored for a while. we have some very beautiful pieces of artwork to display now. i was amazed that they figured out the order so quickly of water one color of paint, picture, water new color of paint, picture....and do on. both did very well. rebekah ate bananas and rice cereal this morning and a bottle. for lunch bret and i had left overs form last night and micah and anna had bologna sandwiches with chips and orange slices. after lunch we went outside and played with the slip and slide micah got for his birthday from meme and papa. we had an absolute blast! rebekah played in her exersaucer and i took pictures and swept the porch. micah and anna had so much fun running and sliding...well at least they tried to slide. it was more like run and fall then crawl to the end, but hey that's fun too when its hot outside and your playing in water, anything is fun right! we came back in and put on dry clothes. i put starwars on for micah and anna and let them watch that in micah's bed till they fell asleep. it worked and they are sacked out right now. after i put them down i fed rebekah some squash and bananas and topped it off with a bottle. she is down now. i am trying to get some house work done. we'll see how much i can do before time for them to get up and me to cook supper. i haven't decided what to fix for supper yet. hopefully something will come to me. hope you all have fun and don't melt in this heat.

isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
