isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

it's been a week

i have been concentrating my free time to looking for a house lately. i have been stressing a lot about what will happen when they knock this place down. i wouldn't be that big of a deal, except micah starts kindergarten next fall. one year from now. i really don't want to make him move schools in the middle of a school year. especially since he struggles with speaking (stuttering). but i don't want to move until we have to because we will have to move far away from the church. since we live next door to the church now, we see bret at lunch, for supper(even when he has evening meetings, and he's only a minute away. when we move, we will only see him tuesday nights and friday-sunday. that may sound like a lot to some, but we will really miss his presence popoping in and out throughout the day. i've looked all over. we will be able to afford a house, but it will be far away to find a good school district we can be happy with. bret is not looking forward to a long commute. i have been obsessing about it so much lately i have almost made myself sick. i have made a deal to not look at anymore houses for a while. i get addicted to looking and i drive myself crazy with the what if stories. we will move when we have to and whenever that is, we will be ok. so no more house looking for a while!!!!

a lot has happened in the last week. last wednesday we went swimming and made a taco casserole for the nfnl class at church. thursday, we hung out at home and the kids and i went out for dinner and shopping at the galleria. micah was so funny wanting to look for 4 year old clothes. friday, i cleaned the house and bret played with the d=kids all morning. we went to lunch at chickfila and had a cookout with our small group at our house that night. it was lots of fun!!! and very delicious! saturday, bret and i played scrabble that morning and he went to play 40k that afternoon. we went out to eat and to kohl's that night. sunday was wonderful worship service and anna stayed in church the whole service without gettin in trouble. she even staid dry the whole day. we took micah and his friend matthew to chuck e cheese for lunch. we staye a long time and played games. they had a blast! we came home to rest for a while and then ryan and lesli came over to watch anna and rebekah while bret and i took micah and matthew to six flags for micah's birthday. they ahd an absolute blast and matthew spent the night. they played all day monday and i took matthew home around 2. we came home and rested and i made spaghetti for supper and later the kids and i made chocolate cupcakes with white icing and chocolate sprinkles. they really enjoyed that. tuesday i went to the ladies bible study at church whille micah and anna and rebekah went to the childcare and played with friends. we came home and took a nap. later we went to eat a chick fil a woth daddy. it was family night there. the kids had fun and made an ocean in a bottle there. we went driving around afterwards looking at all the houses i had found on the internet we might possibly like. it was kinda fun but in the e nd drove me even more crazy, thus the decision to let it go for a while. today we have cleaned house some and played with kennedy and jensen who have been staying with our neighbor, allyson, upstairs. i finally have an appointment tomorrow to take anna to get her stuff seen about, and rebekah is having her sixmonth checkup. i can't believe she is six months already. its flying. well that shoud catch you all up. i'll post some pics of sunday for ya. till next time,
summer

Summer-
I stumbled onto your blog today (I am sitting in for our church secretary this week and it's been really quiet for the last two days) and this post kind of made me laugh. My husband and I just graduated from grad school and all I have been doing all summer is worrying about when we'll find jobs. I guess it's the perrogative of a woman to worry.
I just thought I would let you know that I appreciated your blog- and your kids are precious!
