time is really flying here as we approach only one week 3 days until move time. one week 2 days until we load the truck!! the list of to do's is really stacking up. in times like these, there seems as if there is nothing to write about, yet so much! we are spending dinner with a different family or group everynight this week. so far this week we have had dinner with our small group, the hawkins and the kimberlins. tonight we have a special praise team dinner a brenda homan's and tomorrow night the middle school girls are having a special get together for me ain place of their weekly bible studly. our children's prayers are consumed with prayers for our house to sell, a safe move to alabama and fun in our last few days here in good ole texas. i am trying to keep them as informed as i can. i have learned over time that keeping them informed and up to date makes them feel better about what's going on. so our cnversation often sounds like an itinerary, but at least it helps them to know what is coming so they aren't thrown off. they are actually very excited about our trip and all the people we get to visit with between now and then.
we had a spiritual cleansing sale saturday and we sold our big screen tv!! but God does provide :-). bret did some work for a guy on friday and he gave him a nice 30-something inch hdtv. i have packed about 1/3 of our stuff and am working on the rest of it over the next few days. we have also found time to visit our library and play at the park for a breather! all library books are returned. i want them to remember the things we loved about rockwall. i have filled out our post office mail forwarding form. we will get micah's school withdrawal info next week. today is the day to set up our utilities in alabama. i am hoping i can time it just right where we are never without american idol!! i plan to have the dish disconnected here on friday and turned on there monday. i also have to meet with my realtor one last time to discuss lowering the price of our house :-( and leave her a bag of things that go with the house like the pool card, garage door openers and extra keys. i've got to schedule lawncare for this house for after we move, too. i am nervous about the sprinklers. you can program it to water whenever you want, but if the power goes out or even flickers, it resets totally and does not come on again without being reprogrammed. grass dies very quickly in tx, without sprinklers! that's all i can think of for now. i now there more....so much more, but i just can't write about feelings yet. it is best if i stay laser focused for now :-).
love you all,
whoops, i forgot to tell you all the huge dangling bone my mom threw out to me yesterday. she works for one of the vp's at american general. american general owns a suite at hte large arena GAC thing in nashville. well, she has two tickets to see bon jovi/daughtry next thursday. (two days beofre i move) she offered for me to come join her since bon jovi is my favorite all time band and i love daughtry, too! i have never been so torn in my life! if only it was the next week! it would really make my life so crazy those last 48 hours before loading the truck...i just can't do it in good conscience, but i have never been more tempted in my life!!! thanks mom (she said sarcastically!) no, really thanks for thinking of me. wish i could do it!!

isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Work like crazy, keep a notebook so you don't forget anything and reward yourself with a concert!!!! You can do it!! You must do it!!
No pressure! (Do it!)
I was originally going to say that I wish I was there so that I could do your packing for you so you could go to the concert. Then I thought, "if I was there, that would mean she would be leaving me..." No, I don't think I could be that selfless. I would want the time with you. :o( I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be the PERFECT thing to do. It is a horribly hard decision!!!!!
Love you & miss you!!!!
We are looking forward to seeing you in Montgomery. You already have a large family here.
I miss you already!
I just realized that you lived in Rockwall. I had read that before I guess, but it didn't click. We were in Sulphur Springs and came to Rockwall quite a bit...target, edohana's, saltgrass, the movies...why did you all choose to live so far away from Bret's work at PRCC? Just curious. We've sold our house but don't have a plan for where to land yet.
