rocking sick babies
sniffing fresh picked weeds
getting slobbery kisses
cleaning up spills
stubbing your toe in the middle of the night
drying away tears
reading it "one more time"
answering the 100th "momma" even though we are in the same van and i heard every one
wanting to smack the bully on the play ground that isn't so kind to your baby, but lettting them work it out on their own for their own good
being filled with failure and fury when the bully is yours
rinsing out that soapy head even though they resist (everytime)
folding clothes
putting away clothes
spending your birthday money on new sandals for a growing 3 year old foot
going to chuck e cheese
holding a screaming baby at chuck e cheese
looking like a fool when your child scores his first goal
singing nick jr. songs in my head and out loud from time to time
tickling
playing airplane
"kids, be quiet and go to bed!!"
putting little shoes on feet at least twice before we actually leave.
sweet bedtime prayers
snuggling
returning to a freshly cleaned room only to find "stuff" out again
feeling your heart stop when you see your baby has somehow gotten out into the middle of the street
feeling triumphant when everyone in your family eats out at a restaurant for less than 7 dollars!
feeling pain in you stomach and chest when you have 25 dollars to buy a week's worth of groceries including diapers.
feeding the ducks
hearing your children pretend to be you
crying when they are pretending to be you and they yell at the Child to clean their room.
triumphs
defeats
tears of joy
tears of worry
tears of frustration
tears of guilt
tears of pride
tears of laughing so hard you can't stop
thank you God for letting me experience motherhood
isaiah 40: 28-31
"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

My favorite moments in motherhood are those few-and-far-between times when you get a break from them, only to feel guilty for being away from them and miss them so badly you can't stand it. Mothering is amazing!
I LOVE IT!!!!! I can relate to them all. Love you! Hope you had a great day.
How funny! I loved it & read it to my mom. She got a kick out of it, too. Happy Mother's Day!
love it! All so true...
That is so sweet!
