isaiah 40: 28-31

"do you not know? have you not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. he will not tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumle and fall; but hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

well, we have successfully completed our first week of school. i am very exhausted! i don't know how people who work and have kids do ANYTHING else. working and my family is all i have remotely had time to think about this week. i had the honor of being asked to accompany the student leadership team of 70 11th and 12th graders on a retreat wednesday night and thursday. it was incredible and looked alot like youth ministy in the christian school format. i also had to sub during parent night on thursday night from 6:45m -8:30pm for our drama/chorus teacher who was having her opening night in a local play at Faulkner's dinner theater. so i am very tired and glad it is friday. i don't plan on going anywhere all weekend except for church on sunday and of course, the dreaded grocery store, since we're out of many things. i hope you all had a great week and enjoy your weekend!
